How to track your life
Today I’m teaching you how to track your time.
This is a sneak peek at the content in my life tracking course,
Where you not only learn how to track time, but also how to set consistent habits to live a more intentional, purposeful life.
Enrollment closes Aug 5 (next week) since it’s an asynchronous, cohort-based course.
(If you have questions about the course, check out the FAQs here.)

Purple Carrot wants you to spend more time soaking up the sun and less time stressing over mealtime. They offer a variety of meal kits that help you prepare delicious recipes, prepared meals that are ready to eat in two minutes or less, and grocery items that save you a trip to the store and help you keep your fridge fully stocked.
Whichever option you choose, you can trust that you’re getting nutritious, plant-based meals that are packed with flavor. This summer, they’re sweetening the deal with five new fun and tasty meal options.
Why track your time?
My friend felt overwhelmed and reached out to me for help.
I helped him conduct a time audit (easier version of time tracking - I also teach this in my course).
These were the results:
How to start time tracking
My time tracking calendar on Toggl Track
Check out this article for apps you can use.
I personally use Toggl Track, a time tracking software.
You can use whichever software you’re comfortable with - there are some that track your time automatically, like RescueTime or Rize.
I just prefer manually tracking things so I can be conscious of where my time is going.
Here are categories (“projects” on Toggl) you can start with to categorize your time:
Physical health (exercise, sleep, hygiene)
Mental health (friends, relationships, hobbies, learning)
Financial health (work, side projects, networking, mentorship)
Other (chores, commute)
Reduce (time on phone doomscrolling, things you feel like waste your time)
How to get the most out of time tracking
But we also go over how to ensure your time aligns with your goals (Life North Star Metric),
And how to stay consistent in your habits.
The course duration is 30 days with 15 min of work per day
(Basically 2-3 hours of work per week).
There are deadlines in the course to ensure you don’t procrastinate.
See you in your inbox again next Monday!
Jennifer
P.S. since this is the first time I’m running the cohort, the price is the lowest it’ll ever be - I’m planning on increasing it for future cohorts. Enrollment deadline is Aug 5, 2024 (next week).
P.P.S. I do parity pricing for some countries, so email me back if you have any questions about affordability ❤️
