How I do quarterly reflections

And what I learned from 2023

Sponsored by

It’s the end of Q1 2024.

I use this time to reflect and check whether I’m headed in the life direction I want.

Today I’ll show you:

  1. How I do quarterly reflections, so you can do the same

  2. What I learned

Psst: my first official YouTube video is up! It exposes how much I made in March 2024 and all my revenue streams 👀

How I do quarterly reflections

Inspired by Sahil Bloom.

  1. Write down my proudest wins from each month

  2. Write down what drained energy

  3. Pick 1 area of focus in my life (finances, career, relationships, etc.)

  4. Ask myself whether my habits are in line with that focus

  5. Ask myself what’s stopping me from making progress on that focus

  6. Make a plan for next steps for next quarter

If I have time, I also look through my photos and pick my favourite memories to turn into a moodboard.

What I learned

I was shocked to see how EVERY quarterly reflection in 2023 had “I wish I said no to these, I wish I wasn’t such a people pleaser/doormat.”

Screenshot from my 2024 quarterly reflections

In my Q1 2024 reflection, I saw a HUGE difference in my mindset. I said no to a lot more things, and set better boundaries. I felt so proud of myself.

I never would’ve realized this if I didn’t do my quarterly reflections and saw the difference in time spent on things I liked vs disliked.
