how I habit track even while travelling
“I was consistent for a few weeks, but then I went on vacation and stopped.”
I hear this a lot.

Forget
Get too busy
Are travelling/on vacation
So today, I’m sharing what I do to stay consistent (as someone who’s been traveling for the last 4.5 months).

Be okay with imperfection
These are my journal entries for the last few days.
Point form
Sometimes 1 sentence
Mistakes (accidentally wrote 2025 instead of 2024)
Sometimes, I’ve even been 2+ weeks behind on my journaling and habit tracking.
But I just do what I can: write imperfect entries.
Later, I can go back and catch up if I want to.
(Usually I catch up while on the plane or train, when I have nothing else to do. The point form notes and my photos help jog my memory.)
But what if you want to take a real break?
Kind of like Duolingo with the streak freeze,
It’s okay if you miss a few days.
The most important thing is getting back in the habit after the break.
Just set a day in the future to be your “back to consistency” day.
That’s why today’s email is a few days later than usual…I got too busy hiking the most treacherous mountains of my life 😅
Me, grateful to be alive after 5 hours of climbing through branches and rocks
That’s all for today! Thanks for reading ❤️
