Day 6 habit challenge: support

Day 6 of the habit challenge! We’re so close to 1 week.

Yesterday, we learned about why focus is important (catch up on yesterday’s post here and leave a comment).

Today, I’ll share a personal story about why you need support systems.

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

Someone shared this quote with me when I was marathon training.

Before my marathon, the furthest I’ve ran was 13 km (going from 13 km → 42.2 km was 💀).

But I met up with my friend almost every weekend to do our long runs together.

It was fun because we could chat over food after.

Same thing happened with my triathlon era.

The longest I’ve ever swam before was 1 km.

With friends, we swam 3.3 km.

Who’s your support system?

Is there anyone to hold you accountable to your habits?

If you don’t feel comfortable sharing with anyone in your life right now, just keep opening my emails and know that I’ll be cheering you on.

My hope is that after this 30 day challenge, your habit will become part of your routine and you won’t need me to email you every day anymore!

Were you consistent with your habits today?
