Day 26 habit challenge: experiment

Another way to stay consistent

I always get excited when I treat my life as an experiment.

Today I’ll share how I do it.

P.S. yesterday, we learned how to make consistency enjoyable. Catch up on previous posts here.

What are you trying to change in your life?

Ex) setting a new habit to:

  • Wake up earlier

  • Spend less time on your phone

  • Exercise more

How will that change impact your life?

Ex) staying consistent with your new habit will:

  • Make you happier

  • Give you more time to spend on hobbies you enjoy

  • Help you feel more energized

Treat it like a science experiment

Hypothesis: if I wake up at 7am consistently for 1 week, I’ll have more time for personal growth and development.

Now, all you have to do is:

  • Track the change you’re making (waking up early)

  • Write the impact of what you’re tracking (time for personal growth)

When I think of it as a life science experiment, it feels a lot more fun.

I get curious about the results…

So curious that I end up staying consistent, just to see what the results are.

What’s a science experiment you’d try?

Let me know by replying to this email! I’d love to hear about it and cheer you on.
